What happens when someone asks you to “put it on your schedule”?
Does something else get bumped?
Do you find that your constantly re-scheduling things?
It’s the New Year and a good time to take stock of your day-to-day status quo.
What thing gets bumped off your schedule the most?
What do you never have time to do?
The list is endless….
And for most people the thing that gets bumped off the list on a regular basis is their workout!
How do I know?
The number one thing people say when first joining our program is that they don’t really have the time to workout.
And it’s really easy to have that happen
It happens to me too! Even though I’m in the fitness business
Because I didn’t plan it in. When it’s in my schedule it’s a non-negotiable. It’s the last thing I move off my schedule because I can’t make up the days I don’t do it.
I also noticed that when I workout on a consistent basis I get more done! I have more time because I’m clear headed and efficient.
I’m calmer, I have less stress, I’m less distracted.
So this New Year get a planner- I suggest a Passion Planner- and get organized. Not only that, get serious about the things that are non-negotiable to you.
Schedule them in and stick to the schedule
Be realistic about time.
Set attainable goals and break them down into action steps so you can work at them little by little.
Don’t sacrifice your me time: reading, meditating, exercising or whatever makes you happy.
That’s where your battery gets charged and if you keep bumping that off your schedule so you can get everything else done…
It’s going to feel exhausting
when it doesn’t have to.
Think about it, the first thing you bump off your schedule is going to be the last place you see results.
Don’t have time to workout? Don’t expect anything to change.
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.”
It’s gonna be a great year – make it happen!
